Cover for schools
COVER serves schools in the south-west area (Bristol, Bath & North-East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset).
- All business operations are directed from the office in Bristol including bookings, matters of finance, administration, etc.
- The office is fully computerised and is staffed from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.
- Education consultants will always be present term time and 9.00 am to 4.00 pm during school holidays.

- All of our consultants are experienced teachers with a sympathetic understanding of the needs of schools.
- We never pester schools with early morning calls – our consultants are not given targets to achieve.
- We have a transparent charging policy which offers good value consistent with high quality.
- We charge schools the lowest viable rate commensurate with giving teachers a fair return (these rates are constantly monitored but are usually maintained for a full school year.
- Consultants are available to take bookings from 7 am until 6 pm ( a 24 hr answering service is also available).
- We give a rapid response to short notice bookings. Daily short term and long term placements undertaken.
- Teachers allocated on the basis of suitability not just availability.
- Teachers are not placed outside their own sector experience. Our vetting and assessment of teachers is very rigorous and details of all individual checks are supplied to schools.
